Juniata explodes for a 15-run victory over Susquenita

The Juniata offense started off strong to begin the week as the Indians topped Tri-Valley League foe Susquenita Monday in baseball action, 15-0 in five innings

Picking up the win on the mound for Juniata was Dawson Harper who struck out eight in the one-hit shut out of the Blackhawks.

Harper also helped his own cause at the plate as he went 3-for-4 as one of four Indians who finished with multiple hits. He highlighted his night at the plate with two doubles.

Also notching multiple hits were Josh Bomberger (3-for-4), Jacob Condo (2-for-4) and Logan Kehler (2-for-4).

Notching RBIs were Kehler (4), Condo (3), Bomberger (3), Grant Reinhold (2), Ben Fry and Carson Kepner.

Juniata and Susquenita battled early on as the Indians led 4-0 going into the fourth.

But then things exploded offensively for the Indians in the fifth, as they tallied 11 runs in the inning.

They then held on in the bottom of the inning to close things down, capturing the victory.
