Juniata boys track team falls in close battle with Greenwood

Taking things down to the last events.

The Juniata track and field team battled Greenwood.

It was a tough loss for the Indians on the boys’ side losing 74-76 to the Wildcats .

“The throwers performed well tonight,” said Juniata coach Maisie Aumiller.

In the javelin, the Indians took all three places . Wyatt Ehrenzeller finished first. Cameron Good was next up holding onto second place while Lane Peiper finished third.

Juniata also swept the shot put with Nate Tyson(1st), Lane Peiper (2nd), and Cameron Good (3rd).

Tyson Aurand had a PR in the pole vault winning it with a 12’3” leap.

On the Girls side, the Indians lost 112-43.

Autumn Graybill placed second in long jump along with Mylee Landis. Landis placed third in both the long jump and triple jumps.  

Haley Mummah placed second in the triple jump .

Mariska Beward took first in the discus, third in shot put and first in javelin .
