In weekend soccer action, the Juniata boys soccer team took on Halifax in a Tri-Valley League match up.
But it would be Halifax that would place a goal in the net in both the first and second halves to take home the 2-0 victory.
“It was A tale of two halves with this game. I was glad to see the team step up their intensity and team pride in the second half,” said Juniata coach Jared Byler. “Had we played the first half as we did the second half, things may have been different. We are still learning and trying to fix our mistakes and learn from them.”
In the Shots on Goal advantage Juniata led 5-4.
Th Indians also led in corner opportunities by a 4-3 margin.
Juniata finished with 3 goalkeeper saves while Halifax had 6.
