The flood gates opened for the MIfflin County girls soccer team Friday as the posted 12 goals en route to a convincing 12-0 victory over CD East.
Mifflin County posted seven goals in the first and five in the second.
Aubrey Strohecker finished with a hat trick-plus one, scoring four times and assisting on three.
Strohecker led off the scoring on a Sarah Henry assist at 2:11.
Henry got her name in the scoring column off a pass from Lilie Markley at 5:42.
Strohecker notched goal number minutes later thanks to a Brynn Knepp pass at 8:53.
Less than a minute later, Strohecker scored again.This time it would be Sarah Henry with the assist at 9:37.
Knepp followed hitting the back of the net thanks to a pass by Sarah Henry at 12:10.
Danielle Warfel kept the offense rolling as she scored off of a pass from Strohecker at 17:17 still in the first half.
Strohecker rounded out the first half scoring just seconds later, making it a 7-0 halftime lead.
Starting out the second half Morgan Diven put her name on the score sheet as well. Strohecker got the assist at 41:09.
Kirsten Milliron joined Diven minutes later off a hook up from Knepp at 43:55;
Lillie Markley made it a doubke-digit lead as she scored off of a pass from Strohecker at 49:59.
Amilia Green added to the lead thanks to a pass from Alex Leonard at 70:55.
Spickler hit the final goal for the Lady Huskies on the day thanks to an assist from Knepp at 72:29.
ThexLady Huskies finished the day outshooting CD East 22-2.
CD East goalie Kayana Waller finished with 10 saves while MIfflin County’s Bryanna Henry finished with two.
Mifflin County Record is now 7-8-1 (3-7-1 Conference)
