LEWISTOWN – This one’s for Paisley!!

Wrestling with a cause.

The world of professional wrestling is not just wrestlers battling each other for the glory and titles, it’s also about brotherhood, helping their communities and people that have been given setbacks and they need a little help to get back on their feet.

Saturday night at the HWF Heritage Garden located at the Heritage Fire Company, the Honorary Wrestling Federation.

The night belonged to Paisley Henry. Paisley was born in February.

She came out a fighter as she was diagnosed with severe case of SCID. It’s a rare disease that leaves the body with no immune system.

At Saturday’s match called Cause and Effect, the wrestlers at HWF donated everything that was made at the match to Paisley’s family and her courageous battle in her young life. Also, the wrestlers donated all the money from their merchandise and their pay all for the cause.

All in all the group were able to raise over $1310.00 for the young family.

The local community all came together and rallied around Paisley and her family to help the worthy cause.

“Our girl is doing so good and recovering amazingly! We have an appointment tomorrow and are hoping to hear when she will be getting her port out and when we can officially be home for good!!,” said father Rodney Henry, Paisely’s dad said via a Facebook post. “This has been quite the experience & journey for our family. We still have a very long road ahead of us, but I wouldn’t be able to get through this without all the love & support from our family, friends, and the whole community itself. We are so beyond thankful for each and every one of you. Paisley is so loved.”

Over 140-plus fans showed up to help support the cause as well as watching their favorite local wrestlers put on another incredible show.

The show was all about Paisley and helping her and her family with the medical bills that comes with her condition.

And in true HWF fashion, the group stood up and supported the one of its own community members that were in need.

From the opening bell until the final match of the night, the focus was on Paisley with the wrestling matches being the secondary focus.

Numerous wrestlers paid tribute to the parents of Paisley and their deepest sincere feelings of wanting to help and making the night as successful as they could to help the family.
When the night ended, the group had a successful night and was able to give the family a little help in their courageous battle.
