Huskies fall to tough Mifflinburg squad in field hockey action

The Mifflin County Field Hockey team traveled to Mifflinburg Friday night. The Wildcats brought home the win as the Huskies struggled on the grass.
Early in the first quarter, the Wildcats earned a stroke and were successful at getting the goal. Also in the same quarter, a Wildcat ball made its way in the back of the cage to bring the score to a 2-0.
The next 3 quarters were scoreless and were back and forth for the penalty corners. The Huskies had 9 offensive penalty corners but only gave the Wildcats 2 shots on goal. The Wildcats had 7 offensive penalty corners but the Huskies defense denied any chance of scoring during the play. Allison Renninger earned herself another defensive save for the season as she stopped a Wildcat ball from crossing the goal line.
