In a bounce back game for the MIfflin County softball team, the Lady Huskies won in a pitcher’s dual 2-1 against Chambersburg Thursday.
Madison Wolfgang was back in her groove, striking out 11 and allowing just three hits.
Leading the Huskies’ offense was Dakota Hershberger who again took one out of the park for a 2-run shot.
Others notching hits for the Lady Huskies were Arika Henry, Payton McClure and Riley Hine.
The game was a fast one as neither team were able to get one across the plate until the top of the sixth.
Hershberger continued her torrid hitting as she blasted a 2-run shot, scoring Henry and Herself.
That would be all that the Huskies would need as Wolfgang shut Chambersburg down the rest of the way, allowing just one run to cross.
