Mifflin County Children & Youth is taking donations for their 2026 Christmas Gift Drive now through December 10th. They need the community’s help making the holiday season a little brighter for local children and families! If you would like to shop for a specific child, stop into their office, 101 West 3rd street in Lewistown Monday–Friday between 8AM and 4PM to pick up a form with a child’s clothing sizes, needs, and Christmas wishes. You can shop for as much you’d like.

They are also accepting general item donations and money donations. Money donations will be used by staff to purchase gifts and needed items for the children. Some of the items requested this year include: Socks, Crayons, markers & colored pencils, Coloring books & sketchbooks, Arts & crafts supplies, Hygiene & personal care products, Hair care products, Toys and other age-appropriate gifts. Every donation helps make a difference this Christmas.
