Gene Simmons revealed a Kiss museum is being built at Las Vegas’
Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The Las Vegas Review-Journal posted that that plans are in the works for a 2022 opening, and reported the space would include a “2,000-square-foot expansion of the glow-in-the dark attraction Kiss By Monster Mini Golf. The indoor course and theme area sits is in Masquerade Village, on the level below the Chippendales theater. . . The museum will be attached to what will evolve to a 15,000-square-foot space, all of it Kiss-themed.”
Simmons shined a light on the upcoming extravaganza: “I was in Las Vegas to start working on the Kiss museum, which is really just my collection, because I’ve got a half-century of Kiss stuff. I want the fans to see it. It’s going to be breathtaking I was there the first day, as my stuff started to come in. We have three tractor-trailers full of stuff, and it’s going to be spectacular. The fans are going to dig it. You can play golf, you can have your photo taken, you can take videos of yourself onstage with Kiss, and then go visit my private collection.”
The Kiss co-founder also added that he was hoping that Kiss’ postponed Vegas run at the Hard Rock’s Zappos Theatre would happen by the end of 2022.
Kiss kicks off a 17-date tour of Down Under and South America on March 19th in Melbourne, Australia.
