The Juniata softball team battled Midd-West in a marathon nine-inning affair. When the dust finally settled, the Mustangs would come out the winners of a 4-2 contest.

Juniata pitching phenom Liz Gaisior struck out 16 and went 2-for-3 from the plate with a homerun, a walk, and two runs scored. Navi Jackson was 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI, Savannah Marshall was 2-for-2 with a walk, and Lexi Frontz added a single for Juniata.

Juniata falls to 4-5 while Midd-West improved to 1-7.

The Indians are back in action 4/27 vs. Line Mountain.
