Delp, Everly, Koser and Shoemaker recognized for academic success

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Four Shippensburg University wrestlers have been named 2025 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division II Scholar All-American.

Graduate Nick Delp (New Kensington, Pa./Kiski Area (Bucknell)), junior Kyler Everly (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County), junior Trey Shoemaker (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) and sophomore Diesel Koser (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg Area) were the Raiders who were recognized.

Everly, a civil engineering major, and Shoemaker, a criminal justice major, are now three-time NWCA Division II Scholar All-Americans. It is the second Scholar All-American nod for Koser, a biology major. Delp, a public administration major, is a first-time honoree.

For a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-American Team, he must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships and a 3.0 for those who were All-Americans at the 2024 Nationals. Wrestlers must also have competed in four dates of competition.
