In Wednesday action, the East Juniata girls softball team topped Halifax 16-1 in an abbreviated contest.

The Lady Tigers’ Marley Wilson notched the win facing 14 batters, allowing just three hits, with five strike outs and two walks.

Posting 10 runs in the first inning, the East Juniata bats were jumping.
