The East Juniata boys basketball team BRI des out a tough win Saturday night defeating Midd-West 44-42 in non-league action.

Jake Brackbill lit things up, posting game-high 25 points.

Teammate Clark Ritzman chipped in with a 10-point effort, rounding out double-digit scorers for the Tigers.

The Mustangs were led by Noah Romig who pounded out 18 points.

Garrett Leitzel followed up with 11.

In the first, both offenses led the charge as they both finished the first eight minutes but it would be Midd-West that took the 14-10 advantage.

The Mustangs would add to its lead going into the intermission, outscoring the Tigers 13-9, taking a 27-19 lead into the half.

But the second half belonged to East Juniata as it flipped the script on the Mustangs outscoring them 11-6 in the third, cutting the Midd-West lead to 33-30.

In the final stanza, the Tigers were not to be denied on this night as they continued to take control of the game, bringing home the win by posting 14-9 final quarter en route to the win.
