The East Juniata girls soccer team opened its season with a very hard fought win over Millersburg 1-0.

The lone goal was scored by Bri Brubaker. Teammate Lilli Goodling finished with the assist.

The game went into the intermission at a scoreless tie.

Brubaker came through with her goal with 13:47 to go in game.

The Tigers goalie Landyn Cramer had 10 saves.
