UNIVERSITY PARK –East Juniata junior Josef Book won the boys 60 hurdles with a personal best time of 8.36.  Josef currently holds the 6th fastest time in the state so far this indoor season.

“All three boys had some great performances tonight.  Josef moved up from being ranked 11th in the state to 6th tonight with a well executed race in the 60 hurdles.  Logan ran a tough race in the 3k to take the win.  Lap traffic in the 3k made it very difficult to run the sub 8:45 we were shooting for,” Coach Jeff Miller said “Logan currently sits in state qualifying position in the 3k event.  I thought Wyatt had a great night with a huge PR in the boys mile race and a solid time in the 800 considering he didn’t have much recovery time for that race.”

East Juniata senior Logan Strawser won the boys 3k race with a personal best time of 8:47.67

Juniata sophomore Wyatt Stroup placed 4th in the boys mile with a personal best time of 4:41.99.  Less than a hour later Wyatt placed 17th in the boys 800 meter race with a time of 2:13.48.
