Mifflin County comes into this game searching for a win after losing their last two straight games the Huskies sit 9th in their conference Mifflin County sits second to last in the standings according to Maxpreps. Red Land is placed better than Mifflin County in the standings.

Red Land comes into this game riding a one game win streak, something the Patriots haven’t been able to do since beating Hershey on September 4th. The Patriots  have to feel a bit motivated because they did something Mifflin County was unable to do: beat Hershey Mifflin County fell to the Trojans 35-7 on the road.

This is a no excuse mentality. You can blame not arriving on time as a factor on why your team didn’t play well early which could be one of the main factors but it’s unacceptable that a team should be ready to play every Friday. Mifflin County had that problem happen to them when the team traveled to Gettysburg last week.

I talked to Shane Breon after the game. His emphasis is ‘we gotta be better’. The Huskies can change that tonight and close out the season with a win.

Mifflin County, we can all agree, had a rollercoaster season Mifflin County was predicted to finish last Mifflin County aren’t far from that this is something the Huskies can build from as they begin to prep for next season.

Red Land can also build for next season its been a disappointment of a season in the teams last two seasons they have only won four total games last year it was wins over Northeastern on the road 23-21 and a win over Palmyra 24-7. The 2024 season the Patriots have wins over Hershey and Palmyra.

Mifflin County will have two quarterbacks active tonight that they can turn to both have seen playing time this season. Fletcher Wilson is expected to return its unclear who Mifflin County will turn to.Meanwhile if Mifflin County turns to Chase Hartung is has posted a 2-2 record overall he was superb to begin his first two starts Hartung helped lead his team past Palmyra and stunning Waynesboro before Mifflin County fell in their last two games with Hartung under center.

Hartung went 15/30 225 yards throwing two touchdown passes.

Brice Rishel found the endzone  twice; he accounted for 12 of the team’s 30 points. 

Cyrell Green scored twice accounting for 12 of the 30 points.

Green had 174 total yards in the game vs Gettysburg 

Mifflin County got Joel Beamer involved early in last week’s game.Personally  I’m really big on Beamer. I believe he’s a big part of the future in the receiving spot for the Huskies

Quinlin Shearer only completed 5 out of his 9 attempts 5/9 25 yards give credit where credit is due Shearer did find the endzone once with his legs.

Brady Seyler rushed for 235 yards on 40 carries with two touchdowns.

Prediction Huskies vs Patriots 

Mifflin County will be tested up front with the Patriots rushing attack Seyler averages 113.7 yards a game he had a big game last week.Mifflin County has fared pretty well this year slowing down team’s rushing attacks for the most part I look for the Huskies to take away the run game and make Redland one dimensional forcing the Patriots to pass the ball more which will lead to a lot of great plays on defense. Mifflin County will make Redland pay for their mistakes.  The Patriots weak spot is passing the ball. Mifflin County does well passing the ball. I think both teams will take away what they love to do the most.Mifflin County takes this game on senior night 21-7.
