Mifflin County will make a trip to Gettysburg for their final regular season road game to take on the Warriors at Warrior Field in a Mid Penn Keystone battle Friday night.

Mifflin County will try to get back into the win column after a heartbreaker against Lower Dauphin last Friday falling to the Falcons 9-7 at Mitchell Field in a game we might look back at depending on how the season ends with Gettysburg and Red Land remaining on the schedule.

Gettysburg will look to extend their winning streak to two games the Warriors dismantled Palmyra 42-14 at home.The Warriors are just 1-3 in their last four games their last win before they played the Cougars was on September 13th defeating Northern York 25-22 on the road. Gettysburg has Mifflin County and Lower Dauphin remaining on the schedule the Warriors will travel to Hummelstown to play the Falcons.

Mifflin County will be facing a very good offense and defense the Warriors bring into this game forcing two turnovers in Gettysburg win over Palmyra last week. Mifflin County will be without Landon Haigh in this game so Mifflin County will have to rely on two standout players that are into their final year Dupree Reed and Cyrell Green the Huskies also use Avery Aurand in the receiving game.

Gettysburg will be facing a strong defense of Mifflin County and a offense that has had its good times and bad times the Warriors rely on Preston Burnett he has been used as a pass catcher and running back which makes it difficult to defend.

is 2-1 guiding his team to wins over Palmyra and Waynesboro he only loss comes against Lower Dauphin.

Gettysburg has two quarterbacks that are in their  final year Brady Heiser and Dylan Cunningham if they choose to go that route were uncertain who they will use as their starting quarterback.

This game will not be easy for Mifflin County down one reciever guys were banged up last week so it will be interresting how they gameplan for this game its a must win game for the Huskies to keep their postseason hopes alive.Gettysburg has momentum going into this game with a win last week. The Warriors have played very well of late three to four games into the season this game in my opinion had a different outcome. Mifflin County’s offense has been up and down defense has played well so has Gettysburg’s defense its a road game for the Huskies. Gettysburg has had a much better second half with how they have played teams despite being 1-3 in the teams last four games. I like the Warriors to win this game in front of the home crowd in a close game.
