Dom’s Predictions High School Football Preview
Oct 10, 2025

The Mifflin County 4-3 will hit the road on Saturday morning to Hershey Park Stadium a mid morning game against 4-3 Lower Dauphin a battle to see who will earn their fifth win of the season.
Mifflin County enters this week riding a two game win streak with wins over Palmyra and Waynesboro.
Lower Dauphin is also coming off a win and it was over Palmyra but aren’t fortunate like the Huskies to be riding a two game win streak but with a win over Mifflin County they can make that true.
Mifflin County’s Chase Hartung didn’t light up the stat book when it came to passing the ball Hartung only threw for 95 total yards but he made the plays he needed to to have success. Mifflin County’s run game will be a point of emphasis if they can’t get the passing game going the Huskies has had a player rush for 100 or more yards the past two games it was Jaxon Strohecker in the game against Palmyra and it was Brandon Kauffman rushing for 144 yards in the teams 17-6 win over the Indians.
If Mifflin County can have success through the air a guy that has been a playmaker has been Lucas Hartung; he led the team in receiving last week with 45 yards on four receptions.
on defense Gavin Herrington has come full force after dealing with injuries early he is back to normal and is wreaking havoc Adan Daubert has been a strong force as well. When the defense has played well its been an all around team effort from multiple guys sometimes you just don’t know who is coming that’s something the Falcons will have to worry about on Saturday.
Lower Dauphin has showed throughout the season that they can compete with the best because they have a win over Mechanicsburg this season beating them 22-21 so the Falcons will be ready for the challenge.
Braeden Heckard will be the signal caller for the Falcons he has thrown for 476 yards this season and has only thrown one touchdown this season on five interceptions that could be a problem against a solid secondary of Mifflin County’s
It will be a battle between ranked No 2 signal caller  Hartung and No 7  Heckard it will be a showdown who will come out on top well here’s what i think.
Huskies vs Falcons
Mifflin County has shown that they can consistency run the football but they will have to pass the ball too that has been a weak spot in the past few games they have made the plays when they were there but i feel like they need to do more when you can put up 100 plus yards in a game and do it  back to back weeks you feel like you can beat anybody Mifflin County will put pressure on Heckard to make tough passes and look for Hartung and over defensive players to make it difficult for the Falcons to complete passes and make them one dimensional i think it works out into the Huskies favor give me the road team to win this game
Mifflin County 21-14
