Well we enter week 4 and i’m 3-0 what will this week bring it has already been a rough end of the week as i have been under the weather but i’m expected to be a full go for Friday night when the Trojans travel to Donald Chapman lll Stadium on Friday night.

Mifflin County Huskies  2-1 will host 2-1 Hershey Trojans in a conference showdown on MIni Thon Night Gold Out  Childhood Cancer Night at Donald Chapman Stadium Geisinger,Clayton Homes and  Capouilliez

will be recognized on Friday night.

The Trojans are coming off a win last week against Palmyra defeating the Cougars 48-0 meanwhile the Huskies are looking to bounce back after being shut out by Mechanicsburg 19-0.

Mifflin County had the Wildcats last week in the right spot going into the half as they only trailed 7-0 Mifflin County would get the ball to start the second half but momentum would eventually shift back to Mechanicsburg.

Mifflin County will not want a repeat of last week as the Huskies were held to 54 total yards in the whole game they allowed 252 yards the offense failed to really get anything going Mifflin County were just 2-11 in third down efficiency thats just 18%.

The Huskies defense showed up forcing two turnovers but when you have no offense you simply won’t win or win very little in hopes that the opposing team has a bad offense that wasn’t the case with Mecanicsburg last Friday.

By The Numbers

Chase Hartung went 12-22 with 60 total yards that is a season low he also threw his first interception of the season entering week three’s game he had a 5-0 touchdown interception ratio so he has been efficient leading up to last weeks game Hartung will look to do better this week against a quality Hershey team.

The Huskies run game was also shut down the Lucas Hartung led in yards with four total yards Mifflin County’s lead running back Jaxon  Strohecker rushed for -5 yards.

Nevin Farley did what he could he had 23 yards on two receptions Mifflin County could’t cash it in for points.

The Focus will be on veteran experienced quarterback Cameron Sweeney he loves to run the football Mifflin County has dialed up plays on defense that has shut down opposing quarterbacks this season.

Hershey brings experience on offense with tons of experience that will be a big test for Mifflin County.

Last year Hershey walked all over Mifflin County despite Mifflin County getting out to a strong start scoring the first points in this game its about the experience that the Trojans bring on offense with Sweeney and others this will be a test for Mifflin County i have yet to get a prediction wrong i just think Hershey is the better team in this one give me the Trojans 21-14.
