Chambersburg vs Mifflin County
Girls: 41-109 (L)
Boys: 34-115 (L)
Although we lost to both the girls and boys Chambersburg track teams, Mifflin County athletes produced some good times and distances for this early in the season. Danielle Warfel, Reagan Sheetz and Madison Baumgardner swept the 100 hurdles at the beginning of the meet. Later the hurdlers came back with first and second finishes by Reagan and Abigail Riden in 300 hurdles. The team’s third first place finish was earned by Liberty Cook in the 800m run. On the field, Addie Ross (Long Jump, Pole Vault) and Kendall Cavanaugh (Discus, Shot Put) both earned four points with second and third finishes in their events.
Michael McNitt (110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles) and Trevan Diven (400, 200) were lead scorers for Mifflin County on the track, earning second place in each of their events. On the field, Reece Bell (Javelin), Michael (High Jump) and Ethan Plank (Triple Jump) were each able to capture first-place honors.
