The Bald Eagle Area girls fell in a very close contest Monday 4-3 versus Central.
The Dragons notched the first goal at 6:17.
BEA Makenzie Bickle tied the contest off an assist from Sybil Thompson at 10:02.
Bald Eagle took the lead on a scored on an unassisted goal by Lydia Walk. Central tied the game at 33:56.
The Dragons went back ahead at 35:18;
Thompson tied the contest once again thanks to a Makenzie Bickle assist at 57:34.
But the Dragons had the last word, scoring at 61:26.
“The game was very much back and forth with quite a few opportunities,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “Central made better use of theirs than we did.”
Central held the advantage in shots by a 15-11 margin.
Both tied in corner opportunities at two.
The Eagles goalie Makayla Spicer finished with 11 saves.
With the loss BEA falls to 5-2-1.
BEA next game is 9/18 vs Penns Valley
