The Mifflin County Golf team competed today in the Boys District 6 AAA sectional tournament. This tournament is how individuals and teams move on to the District 6 Championships. The top two teams advance, and the top 10 individuals advance. Blake Stringfellow shot an 82, which was good for a tie for 6th place, and Dominic Weyman shot 83, which was good for a tie for 10th place. Both will be advancing to the District 6 AAA Championships next week at Scotch Valley Country Club. Other competing for MC on the day were Ryan Hine, 86, Bryson Bubb, 88, Jackson Flood, 92, Colby Seiler, 97, Jace Richel, 103, and Jaron Yoder, 112.

Mifflin County finished 4th in the team standing with a score of 345. State College won the team event with a score of 309. Altoona was second with a 323, Hollidaysburg was 3rd with a 335, and Central Mountain finished 5th with a score of 354.
