The Bellefonte cross country teams had their fourth home meet of the season. With a lot of smiles and rain throughout the races, Bellefonte had a very good meet.

Both girls and boys varsity teams for Bellefonte added wins to their season record. The girls move to 7-1 and the boys move to 8-0. Both are in the hunt for the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference Section 3 Championship.
The girls had a clean sweep taking the first five finishing positions. Addison Fry and Natalie Jolley ran together and finished right beside one another at the line. Emma Burger took 3rd, followed by Anna Tyson in 4th. Senior Alexis Fravel placed 5th and Ruthann Smoyer placed 9th. It was really nice to see the girls all have smiles during and after the race. A Lot of positives after today.
The boys ran a good race with Kaiden Williams winning the race followed by Maverick Muchmore 2nd and Jonathan Gasper 3rd. Elijah Davis was 5th and Kaiden Musser finished 13th. The boys continue to show strength in their running and everyone is looking forward to competing this Saturday at the Ridgway Invitational.
Bellefonte junior high boys and girls added more fast races to their season. Gunther Kull and Bowen Williams went one and two in the boys race. Followed by Ethan Karmelita placing 5th and Braeden Strohm 8th. Hudson Manning placed 10th, Hyrum Jones 11th and Justin Roberts 12th.
Aliisa Kyte-Yech was second in the girls race with Emily Moretz placing 3rd. Emma Crater was 5th, Haddie Lutz 6th, Megan Showers 7th and Molly Showers 8th.
Overall for the entire program today showed another very positive day.
Bellefonte cross country will next compete at the Ridgway Invitational this Saturday against some new and fast competition. Also, next Wednesday at Philipsburg-Osceola with Clearfield for the final conference regular season league meet of the season.
