BELLEFONTE – It was a strong debut for the Bellefonte Lady Raider Volleyball Team as they opened their season at home Tuesday with an exciting victory, defeating Central in straight sets (3–0).

Bellefonte topped Central by scores of 25-11, 25-23 and 25-13.

In the contest, the Lady Raiders  senior setter, Aubrey Schreppel, made Bellefonte history by reaching 1,000 career assists against the Red Dragons.

Leading the way for Bellefonte was Colbie Frailey as she finished with 11 kills, 19 assists and eight digs.

Teammate outside hitter Mati Hepfer also had a strong showing posting 22 assists, nine kills and two digs.
