The Bellefonte Junior High Track and Field had many great performances at Saturday’s Bison Stampede hosted by Clearfield. Overall, the boys took 5th out of 13 teams and the girls took 8th out of 14. The boys also set a school record in the 4x400m relay and Jack Tyson set a new school and meet record in javelin.
The boys took 1st in the 4x400m relay (Donmoyer, Fritchman, Delos Reyes, Tyson) and 6th in the 4x100m relay (Tomlinson, Schiffer, Delos Reyes, Smith). Other individual results include Elliott Donmoyer (1st: 100m, 1st: 400m), Jack Tyson (1st: Javelin, 2nd 400m), Carson Fritchman (2nd: 800m), Seth Muchmore (4th: Discus, 6th Javelin), Noah Delos Reyes (5th: 200m), and Bowen Williams (6th, 3200m).
For the girls, their 4x100m relay took 6th (Rock, Lykens, Mauk, Padgett) and other placewinners include Kaylee Knepp (2nd:100m, 2nd: High Jump) and Juniper Ondrasik (2nd Javelin).
