The Bellefonte Junior High Track had some strong showings at their meets on April 3 vs Bald Eagle, Clearfield, and OLV and April 7th vs PO and Huntingdon.

Here are the results.

     April 3rd

The boys swept the meet to improve to 5-0 on the season. The girls lost to Clearfield and dropped a very close contest to Bald Eagle, but beat OLV to go to 3-2. Elliott Donmoyer was a 4x winner in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 4x400m for the boys. Jack Tyson extended his javelin school record to 173-7 (current PA #1) and also won discus, was part of the winning 4x400m, and tied for 1st in the 400m. Bowen Williams also placed first in the 3200m.

For the girls, Kaylee Knepp won high jump and placed 2nd in 300m Hurdles. Other notable finishes were Piper Rock (2nd Javelin), Natalie Kulago (2nd Discus), Ronni Spotts (2nd Triple Jump), and the 4x100m relay (2nd).

April 7th

Boys remain undefeated at 7-0 and the girls go 1-1 for this meet to go to 4-3 on the year. Notable boys performances include victories in the 4x100m, 4x400m, and 4x800m, including a new school record of 4:07in the 4x400m (Elliott Donmoyer, Carson Fritchman, Noah Delos Reyes, Jack Tyson). Individual winners were Noah Delos Reyes (100m, 200m), Bowen Williams (1600m), Elliott Donmoyer (400m), Noah Tomlinson (800m), Alex Giornesto (3200m), Timothy Osman (Triple Jump), Jack Tyson (Discus, Javelin). Notable girls performances include winning the 4x100m and 4x800m relays, and individual winners Ronni Spotts (100m Hurdles), Kaylee Knepp (100m, 300m Hurdles, High Jump), and Natalie Kulago (Discus).
