BELLEFONTE – A six-run third inning led the Bellefonte baseball team to an 11-1 victory on Tuesday. Alexander Ebeling, Triston Heckman, Dominic Capperella, and Levi Purnell each had RBIs in the big inning.
Capperella took the win for the Red Raiders. The southpaw allowed six hits and one run over six innings, striking out six.
Colman led things off on the mound for Tyrone. The hurler went two innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out two. Postreich and Patterson entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one and one-third innings respectively.
Trevor Johnson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Bellefonte in hits. The Red Raiders didn’t commit a single error in the field. Purnell had the most chances in the field with eight.
Tyrone didn’t commit a single error in the field. Hamer had four chances in the field, the most on the team.
