Bellefonte girls lacrosse opens with convincing win

The Bellefonte girls lacrosse team opened its season with a convincing 16-8 win against Lewisburg Tuesday at Rogers Stadium.

With the win Bellefonte jumps to 1-0 while Lewisburg drops to 0-1. 16-8 at Rogers Stadium in Bellefonte.  

“Elle Macafee controlled the game with draws controlled and running the offense,” said Bellefonte coach Doug McKee. “Molly McKee scored a record ten goals with have coming off assists from Macafee.  Over the defense was outstanding with Frantz manning the cage.”

McKee  also had two assists and two controlled draws to go with the 10-point effort.

Elle Macafee finished with four goals , five assists and 14 draws controlled.

Others finishing in the with goals were Bethany Book, Grace Clouser   goal and an assist.

Goalie  Kayle Frantz  posted 11 saves.

Bellefonte hosts Mifflin County this Thursday (3/31) (Rain makeup this Friday 4/2)
