BELLEFONTE – Bombs Away!!

The Bellefonte softball team brought their bats Wednesday afternoon blasting their way a convincing 25-10 victory over Central at home.

Offensively, the Lady Raiders plaster 25 runs on 25 hits for the win.

Going yard for the Red Raiders were Mackenzie Ellenberger (2), Regan Manning. Ellenberger also roped a double finishing a 3-for-3 campaign with 5RBIs and three runs.

Manning had a perfect night at the plate going 5-for-5 4RBIs, 3runs

Madison Ripka posted four hits against Central.

Picking up three hits on the afternoon were Sadie Ripka, Grace Novitsky, Taylor Bowen and Ellenberger.

Picking up three win in the circle was Carley Clarkson.

Central took the 3-2 lead early in the contest

In the fourth inning, Bellefonte plated 14 while Central was held to only four in its part of the inning.

The Red Raiders finished off the game in the fourth adding nine more to its tally en route to the 25-10 victory.

The JV squad also  picked up the win , winning 19-3.
