A grand slam by Bellefonte’s Braedyn Kormanic broke a close game open against Clearfield Monday en route to the 13-2 victory for the Red Raiders baseball team.

In the end, Kormanic finished with five RBIs.

On the mound, Dominic Caperella struck out 11 Bison in just 4 2/3 innings. Bellefonte held Clearfield batters to just four hits in the contest.

Multiple hitters for the Red Raiders were Caperella, Kormanic, Trevor Johnson, Jacob Corman and designated hitter Levi Purnell, all with two hits.

Bellefonte notched a run in the second and one in the first.

Offensively, the Red Raiders rapped out 12 hits on the night.

Going into the fourth, Bellefonte exploded for five runs in the fourth and six in the fifth to take the victory.
