Bellefonte explodes for 10 goals against Central

The Bellefonte boys soccer team continues to pile up the points. Wednesday, the Red Raiders picked up a convincing win over Central 10-1.

“We got to play a lot of guys tonight. They all stepped up and moved the ball very well creating shots for multiple guys on the team,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “It was nice to see the unselfish play tonight getting everyone involved.”

Bellefonte led in shots by a 26-3 margin and also in corner opportunities 9-1.

Bellefonte’s Connelle Stabinger notched a hat trick in the win Wednesday/

In the first half, Bellefonte scored at 7:38 thanks to a Stabinger goal with the assist from John servant.

Stabinger was at it again, scoring an unassisted goal at 11:10.

Bellefonte picked up its third goal at 14:34 as Andy Geresenko put one through thanks to an assist by Seth Caton.

At 15:32, Stabinger had hit the hat trick. He was assisted John Servant.

Less than a minute later,Bellefonte was at it again. At 16:18, Andy Geresenko tickled the twine continuing the offensive charge.

Bellefonte scored once again at 34:50 thanks to a Tristan Laides unassisted goal to end the first half scoring.

Things continued to roll for the Raiders in the second half

Bellefonte scored at :48 thanks to a Seth Caton goal.

At 51:35, Caton got the prize thanks to an assist by Geresanko.

At 59:00, Jacob Ondrasik scored as well. He was assisted by Desmond Grindley.

Central scored on a Ben McIntyre shot at 68:40.

Bellefonte ended the scoring at 74:45 on a second goal by Ondrasik.

With the win, Bellefonte improves to

9-2-1.
