“It was a great evenly matched soccer game tonight. It was a 3 game week for us and back to back nights so I told the guys to stay patient eary and just see how they are going to play. We got the 1st goal going into half,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “I told the guys at half time they have off the rest of the week after tonight to rest so I needed them to come hard and strong and give me everything they had for the next 40 min and they did just that. Controlling up front and pushing on Hollidaysburg defense. Our defense did a great job holding them down and playing balls to our midfield. Eli Davis payed another solid game in goal for us.”
With the win, Bellefonte improved to 11-2-2.
Next game Monday October 14th at home against Tyrone.
