BELLEFONTE – Rome was not built in a day.

Even a small early setback is not going deter this year’s Red Raider team.

The Bellefonte football team is trying to turn around its program from a subpar 2022 season. The group has been hard at work in the off season to get its program back to its legendary status.

However, the schedule was not kind to the Red Raiders Friday as the debut of the new system went up against perennial powerhouse Central.

Despite falling 49-0, the Red Raiders battled throughout the game, never giving up and grinded it out to the end.

The Red Raiders look to rebound next week as they go head-to-head against Chestnut Ridge next Friday.
