BEA girls open season in dominating fashion!

It was points aplenty for the Bald Eagle girls soccer team Saturday as they blistered MoShannon Valley 9-0 .

The Lady Eagles outshot their opponent by a 25-0 margin en route to the Weekend victory.

Adrienne Hacker had two goals and an assist on day.

Bald Eagle also held the advantage in corner kicks by a 4-0 mark.

Saves for BEA was none for Angie Grieb and teammate Mackenzie Vozniak as they shared goalie duties.

MO Valley goalie Kate Fox saved 17.

Heather Leskovansky got the game off and running as she posted an unassisted goal at 3:30

A little over 15 minutes later Sybil Thompson posted her first goal at 19:05.

Addisyn Burns made it a 3-0 contest as she hooked up on a pass from Adrienne Hacker with the clock showing 22:44.

Hacker called her own number as she plastered an unassisted goal at 30:12.

Minutes later Hacker tickled the twine once again. This time she received a pass from Claudia Irvin upping the score once again 33:45.

Mo Valley posted an Own Goal scenario at 46:20

Makenzie Bickle off a pass from Sybil Thompson added to the insurance goals at 49:23.

Bickle hot her second goal of the day thanks to a pass from Heather Leskovansky, making it an 8-0 advantage at 54:34.

Burns ended the game scoring hitting on an unassisted goal at 67:30. 

“What a great way to start off the season.  The girls put in a hard preseason and it paid off today,” said Eagle coach Jared Moore. “I like to see contributions from multiple players. Adrienne Hacker had a great day with a brace and an assist. Her vision on the field was excellent. The defense was solid and allowed no pressure for our keeper. Just and all around team effort today.”

BEA starts its season with 1-0 record.

Next up for the Lady Eagles is a Tuesday trek to Bellefonte.
