A new rivalry is underway!
Bellefonte and Bald Eagle Area met in girls wrestling Friday night.
It was the beginning of a new rivalry as the Lady Eagles took this chapter, winning 42-18.
Starting at 106, Bald Eagle’s got off on the right foot as Lily Spicer got her hand raised, winning by forfeit.
Things continued well for the Eagles as Eden Eveleth also won by forfeit at 113, upping the lead quickly to 12-0.
Addison Tice made it 3-for-3 as she also won by fofeit.
Bellefonte’s Carly Bair put the Red Raiders on the scoreboard, pinning Rebekah Guenot by a pinfall at 1:20.
Teammate Victoria Shellenberger won by forfeit at 130.
Bella Johnstonbaugh tied the contest at 18 with a forfeit.
Back rallied the Lady Eagles when 155-pounder Cameron Corl-Alton won by forfeit as well.
At 170, Bald Eagle’s Grace Crestani pinned Bailey Scott at 0:48.
Shaelyn Harter rounded out the forfeited wins for the Eagles en Route to the 42-18 victory.
