WINGATE – Throw out the records when the Bald Eagle and Bellefonte girls soccer team meet up on the turf. In their first meeting of the year, the Eagles muscled out a win late to take home a 1-0 win on a Heather Leskovansky goal.

Wednesday night, the two battled once again and the results would be ironically the same. Leskovansky would once again make the winning goal en route to another 1-0 victory over the Lady Raiders.

“We had a little trouble getting going tonight but the girls finally found a rhythm and punched one in. Alex played a great ball and Heather finished it,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “We had to play hard defense against a tough Bellefonte team and the girls held out for the win.”
