The Bald Eagle Area softball teams need its week on a positive note as they defeated a very tough Hollidaysburg team Friday, 2-1.

Eagles hurler Sierra Albright picked up the win as she gave up just a run on three hits while striking out 12.

Offensively, the Lady Eagle pounded out 11 hits.

Leading the offensive strike was Taylor Habovick led the way with three hits.

Teammates Kailey Eckert and Ava Stere each followed with two apiece.

Monday, the Eagles and rival Bellefonte will meet up in its annual rivalry game.
