The Bald Eagle wrestling team found itself in a strong Tuesday night battle with Clearfield.

In the end, the Eagles came up a little short, falling 36-31 in Mountain League action.

Picking up wins for the Eagles were the following…

At 152, Bald Eagle’s Jeffre Pifer pinned Patrick Knepp at 3:04.

Bald Eagle picked up its second win at 172 as Shawn  Knepp pinned Hunter Ressler at 1:26.

Gage  Gardner  took control of the 215-pound weight class as he defeated Eric Myers in sudden Victory-1, 4-2.

At 114, Kayson Tice followed with a pin over Bryndin Chamberlain at 5:26.

121-pounder Lucas  Fye  took home a major decision for the Eagles defeating Evan Davis 11-1.

Rounding out the Bald Eagle wins at 133 was Coen Bainey pinning Colton Bumbarger at 2:21.
