Another night, another win.

The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team continued its winning ways Tuesday shutting out Somerset 4-0.

Savanna Albright started the scoring as she caught a pass from

Adrienne Hacker and sent it home at 37:15.

In the second half BEA got back on the scoreboard as Addisyn Burns off a pass from Sybil Thompson scored at 56:01.

Next it was Thompson’s turn to light it up as she caught a pass from Adrienne Hacker and hit nothing but net at 65:27

Burns rounded out the scoring on a Thompson assist at 79:49.

I thought we play well through the rainy conditions. It really affects the playing surface and both teams had to adjust to that. What impressed me the most was our defense tonight led by Alexa Thomas,” said Bald Eagle Area’s coach Jared Moore. “She was outstanding! Savanna got us on the board with a nice finish on a cross from Adrienne and gave us a 1-0 lead going into the half. I thought the girls cleaned up the touches and passes in the second half and were able to create many scoring opportunities. Addisyn Burns had a brace today on two great one time shots from distance. The way the girls a clicking right now is really fantastic.”

Bald Eagle led in shots on goals by an 18-4 margin and 9-1 in corner opportunities.

BEA goalie Makayla Spicer finished with four saves while Sometset Raisa Seslow had 14.

With the win the Lady Eagles improved to 7-2-1.
