Blasting the Bison!

The Bald Eagle Area baseball team continues its successful season as they capped off the week with a 12-2 five inning victory over Clearfield.Thursday.

Picking up the start was hurler Wyatt Coakley. He pitched the first three innings as he gave up only two earned runs, three hits, three walks and had two strikeouts.

Bald Eagle fell behind early as the Bison posted two in the top of the second.

The Eagles battled their way back in the bottom of the 2nd inning posting  four runs and rolled from there. . Carson Nagle came in in the fourth and pitched the final two innings to get the “W”.

Offensively, the Eagles’ offense pounded out 12 hits.

Leading the way at the plate was Cam Watkins who blasted a home run in the bottom of the 5th.

The Eagles also had 4 players with two hits in the victory.

The Eagles improve to a perfect  4-0.
