TYRONE – The Bald Eagle Area boys basketball team had its season ended Friday as they fell to Tyrone in the first round of District 6 action, 53-37.

Bald Eagle’s offense was led by Cam Watkins 13 points. Blaze Angellotti followed with six points.

Tyrone was led by a trio of Golden Eagles as Andrew Escala led the scoring with 15.

Following with 10-point effort were Ross Gampe and Zac LeGars.

Tyrone got off to an early 15-5 advantage after one period.

Bald Eagle took the second period scoring by an 8-7 margin.

As the two teams went into the intermission with Tyrone leading 22-13.

However, the Golden Eagles had the hot hand in the second half outscoring Bald Eagle 31-24.
