Bald Eagle had trouble keeping up with Central in a 10-3 loss on Tuesday.

The Eagles opened the scoring in the first after Teagun Runkle grounded out, scoring one run.

Central captured the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the first after Jay Hoenstine lined out, and Central scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.

Central added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Bald Eagle committed an error, Jesse Muthler singled to left field, and Josh Beltz singled to right field, each scoring one run.

Central scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Hoenstine drew a walk, scoring one run, Kyle Klotz singled, scoring one run, Mason Byler doubled, scoring two runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.

Sparks earned the win for Central. The reliever allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out three and walking three. Connor Perry took the loss for the Eagles. The pitcher went four innings, allowing five runs (zero earned) on six hits, striking out three and walking four.

Kaleb Irion and Runkle were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Bald Eagle. The Eagles had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Perry and Kaden Clark led the team with two free passes each. Bald Eagle turned one double play in the game.

The Dragons collected nine hits in the game. Klotz and Byler each collected two hits for Central. Hoenstine and Byler each drove in two runs for Central. Wyatt Dilling paced the Dragons with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game.
