What an outstanding game! We were tied 0-0 at the half. It was back and forth. I thought we came out strong in the 2nd half. We played tough defense all game long and absorbed a lot of pressure,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “We earned a free kick and Sydney Thompson put it right over the line for Sybil Thompson to run into and she hit a beautiful volley into the side net. We held off a strong Hollidaysburg attack but they capitalized late and tied it up. 2 overtime periods were just as intense and we finished in a draw.”
Eagle goalkeeper Makayla Spicer finished with eight save.
Bald Eagle led off the scoring as
Sybil Thompson scored on a Sydney Thompson assist at 57:38.
Hollidaysburg’s Bella Vent hit the tying goal at 78:49.
