Back on track.
After falling to rival Bellefonte earlier in the week, the Bald Eagle Area boys basketball team got back to its winning ways as it defeats Somerset 75-34.
After a close first quarter where the Eagles opened with a 21-16 advantage, the Bald Eagles offense took it to the next level in the second. Its defense was able to hold the Golden Eagle to only five points while its offense scored 26.
When the two went into the intermission, the Bald Eagles led comfortably 47-21.
After that Bald Eagle never looked back.
In the third, the points kept coming for the Bald Eagles as they posted 18 while holding Somerset to single digits once again with 18-6.
In the final stanza, Bald Eagle Area finished up strong as well as they outscored their opponent 10-7 en route to the victory.
Leading the way for the Eagles was Kane Wolf who had a game high 22-points effort. Teammate James Cowan tallied 15 in the win.
