Sep 10, 2025

The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team met Huntingdon Wednesday night and when the game ended the result ended in a 1-1 2 Overtime tie.

After a scoreless first by the Bearcats at 9:34, the Lady Eagles knotted things on an Addison Tice blast off a pass from Savanna Albright at the 16-minute mark.

From there both defenses took center stage and refused to allow another score on the evening ending the contest as a tie.

“The girls played a great game tonight and many of them ran all 100 minutes. Our defense was great and Cami made some real timely saves in overtime to keep us in it,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “The offense pushed hard and created a lot of good scoring opportunities but Huntingdon’s keeper was excellent. What a hard fought game. I am very proud of their effort tonight.”

Huntingdon led in Corners opportunities by a 4-3 margin.

The Lady Eagles outshot the Bearcats 18-13.

Bald Eagle goalkeeper Cami Walker finished with 12 saves.

BEA Record stands at 1-5-1.

Next up for BEA is at 9/16 at Clearfield.
