Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil was forced to leave the stage on Saturday (May 29th) during his first post-Covid solo gig, after losing his voice. EW.com posted that over the course of Neil’s gig at Iowa’s Boone River Valley Festival, he struggled vocally, especially during performance of “Dr. Feelgood” and the Crüe’s cover of the Beatles‘ “Helter Skelter.”
During the 14th tune of the night — “Girls, Girls, Girls” — Neil bailed from the stage while his band kept playing, telling the audience: “I’m sorry, guys. It’s been a long time playing — my f***ing voice is gone. We love you and we’ll hopefully see you next time, man.”

- Mötley Crüe will hit the road in 2022 as part of “The Stadium Tour” with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
- Back in 2019, the band released four new songs as part of the soundtrack of The Dirt, the Netflix Crüe biopic. Included was a cover of Madonna‘s 1984 six-week chart-topper, “Like A Virgin.”
