Mifflin County boys soccer team falls in nail biter
Sep 8, 2025

The Mifflin County boys soccer team started the week with a trip to West Perry.

In the end, the Huskies fell in a nail biting contest at 1-0.

This was a well played soccer match by both teams. There were not many chances had by both teams but the ones that happened were dangerous,” said Mifflin County Assistant Coach Todd Peters. “Defensive lines by both teams prevented forwards slipping in behind by both teams. With 11:23 left in the match, West Perry scored on a corner kick scramble and that unfortunately decided the outcome. Our boys battled all night and it was a good soccer match.”

West Perry led in shots on goal by a 4-3 advantage.

Both teams finished with three saves each while the Huskies led in corners 4-2.

In JV action, West Perry won 2-0
