Wednesday the Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team ran into a tough Central team, 5-0.
The Dragons out shot the Eagles 24-4. In corner opportunities the Central girls held a 6-0 advantage.
Bald Eagle goalie Emily Steffan finished with 19 saves Central finished with four.
“We had trouble holding possession today. We also made a few costly errors in the first half that cost us,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “Savanna Albright played a great game on defense today. She worked hard clearing balls all game long.”
With the loss, the Lady Eagles fall to 0-3.
Next up for BEA is a contest against Westmont Hilltop September 2.
