In their first outing of the season, the Bellefonte boys soccer team was primed and ready to go as they defeated Philipsburg-Osceola 3-0 on Tuesday.

Bellefonte got the scoring started on a first half goal by Connelle Stabinger with the assist coming from Cameron Ballas at 3:25

In the second half, the Red Raiders added some insurance goals to ice the game. Picking up goals were Ollie Thornburg at 42:19 and John Servant at 76:03.

Bellefonte outshot the Mounties  22 – 3.

“For the 1st game I thought the guys played really well. We moved the ball well and created a lot of good shots for us,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz . “Our defense was solid all night for us stopping them from having any really good shots. PO GK played and absolute incredible game we pounded on him all night and he was up for the challenge he earned a lot of respect from our team tonight.”
