The Mifflin County 10u All-Stars won both games today at the Cal Ripken State Tournament. They finished 4-0 through pool play taking the #3 seed into tomorrow. They are the final six teams remaining and play Central Dauphin at 12:30 tomorrow.

The MIfflin County 10u’s took Saturday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 9-8 walk-off victory over MARA Blue Cook at Fisher Park. Mifflin County was down 8-7 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Jonas Weaver singled, scoring two runs.
MC came back to win despite trailing 4-0 in the first.
MARA Blue Cook opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to four singles. MARA Blue Cook 10U first got on the board scoring one run.
Mifflin County flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring six runs on six hits to take the lead, 6-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Easton Peachey that drove in two.
MARA Blue Cook tied the game in the top of the fourth thanks to a sacrifice fly by W B, and a single by C W.
Mifflin County took the lead in the bottom of the fifth. An error scored one run, to give MC the leg up, 7-6.
MARA Blue Cook took the lead in the top of the sixth inning.
Garrett Shawver opened the game for MIfflin County. The pitcher allowed seven hits and four runs over three innings, striking out one and walking none. Carter Walker and Peachey each appeared in relief for MC.
Mifflin County tallied 11 hits in the game. Peachey, Jonas Weaver, and Hunter Strungfellow each collected two hits for MCYB 10u Allstars 2025. Weaver went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Mifflin County turned one double play in the game.

The MIfflin County 10u Allstars Roll Past Exeter

The MIfflin County 10u Allstars won big over Exeter 10U 12-0 on Saturday at Fisher Park.
The MIfflin County 10Us got on the board in the top of the first inning after Carter Walker singled, scoring two runs, Easton Trutt hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Stringfellow singled, scoring two runs, and Jaxson Joyce singled, scoring one run.
Mifflin County added one run in the second after Exeter committed an error.
Mifflin County added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Exeter committed an error, and Zayne Dickson tripled to center field, each scoring one run.
Jonas Weaver started on the bump for Mifflin County. The pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none. Stringfellow pitched two innings of shutout ball for MC in relief. The hurler gave up one hit, striking out five and walking none.
Carter Walker and Jaxson Joyce each collected two hits for MC. Walker and Joyce each drove in three runs for Mifflin County. The “Purple and White” didn’t commit a single error in the field. Garrett Shawver had the most chances in the field with eight.
